About a year ago I stopped using deodorant. This was a decision I made for the fact that the toxins in my body needed to be minimized. There are some harmful things in drugstore deodorant, like aluminum (which can cause a number of health issues), Parabens/Pthalates (which can cause hormonal issues), and Triclosan (which can cause issues with your thyroid). So I found a recipe for homemade deodorant and tried that. It broke me out in an itchy rash. My final solution was to de-toxify myself, embrace the stinkiness while the toxins left my body and use the crystal. My downside with that is the smell, because I like scented products. This is why I was so happy when I was sent this product for review.
This is the first natural creme based deodorant product that has not broken me out into a rash. Notice it has Shea Butter, arrowroot powder, coconut oil, baking soda, peppermint essential oil, vanilla extract, and tea tree oil! These are all natural ingredients and I love the way it feels.
The consistency of the product is very creamy. You only need small amount under each arm to be effective. Immediately, the smell is delicious and I love it! It’s just like having a vanilla mint cloud follow you around.
For comparison, I was sick for a few days so I did not wear the crystal (I did shower though, I am not that gross). Then I started using this product. I did stink a little before I put it on but once I did the body odor was gone! This is extremely effective and I am definitely in love.
