This is an 8 inch chef knife that feels like very good quality. The handle is a smooth silicone and very comfortable in the hand. It is sharp and I feel like I can cut through vegetables with ease. It is also very easy to sharpen.
This set also comes with a free paring knife of the same material and color. I have not noticed the color flaking off or anything which is a good sign, however this might be something to look out for in the future. The size is perfect for a smaller hand and it has the heft and weight for those who do not have a lot of upper body strength.
Overall this is a really fun way to cook!
