The Review
I wondered, as I started watching this movie, if Henry Goulding and Michelle Yeoh were contractually obligated to be cast together after Crazy Rich Asians. Last Christmas felt more like a Hallmark movie until the end. This is one of those “better the second time” things. Emma Thompson is wonderful as per yoojzhe complete with Yugoslavian accent.
The late great (Sir) George Michael is celebrated throughout and it was wonderful to hear.
So get ready to block out four hours of your schedule because you’re going to want to watch this one twice in a row.
