Nadia and Daniel are looking for love. They bother ride the same train to work. Daniel see Nadia, writes an advert in the paper anonymously seeking out Nadia. She in turn inadvertently (indirectly?) replies. The rest is room com heaven. ⠀

For me, it took a while to get into this book. It is told from first person view of both Nadia and Daniel. The first half of the book really takes a bit to get going. I really wished the story had been tightened up a bit. That being said the book is very fun and a perfect summer beach read. ⠀

If you enjoy British humor (and as an American I totally do) you will enjoy this book. Stick with it and see the coincidences unfold.⠀

Small Summary:

Nadia gets the 7.30 train every morning without fail. Well, except if she oversleeps or wakes up at her friend Emma’s after too much wine.

Daniel really does get the 7.30 train every morning, which is easy because he hasn’t been able to sleep properly since his dad died.

One morning, Nadia’s eye catches sight of a post in the daily paper:

To the cute girl with the coffee stains on her dress. I’m the guy who’s always standing near the doors… Drink sometime?

So begins a not-quite-romance of near-misses, true love, and the power of the written word.
