BOOK: Whisked Away
AUTHOR: Melanie Summers
I apologize to everyone involved, this one got away from me. I was supposed to review it before but then I got bogged down with other blog tours and whatnot...blah blah blah. It’s no excuse. BUT maybe I am a bit of a pleasure delayer. Because this book was so enjoyable. It is the second in the series, and while that is usually frustrating to me to start in the middle, in this case it was no problem. Can’t wait to go back and read the others in this series.
This book is funny, and in a totally unexpected way. The characters make you fall in love and the connections between them are totally believable. I fully believe that this author will be on my “Must Read All” list!!!!
Synopsis (from Goodreads):
At twenty-seven years old, Emma Banks has big plans for her life. After graduating from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, she's ready to take her place as head chef at one of her family’s resort restaurants. But upon arrival at Paradise Bay, she’s shuffled off to the resort’s new private island getaway, where she’ll be stuck catering to the rich and shameless. Her first assignment is to serve Pierce Davenport, an infuriatingly arrogant writer with a palate that’s about as adventurous as a plain boiled potato.
I received this book for review purposes from NetGalley. ⠀
