The Review 📚 Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe

The Title/Cover Draw:

  • Even though this book came out a few years ago, it recently fell on my radar. There is a sequel coming out soon also.

💜 What I liked:

  • Aristotle and Dante are the type of characters you fall in love with. They are friends, but they are also growing up and in that they discover so many things about themselves and the world. There were times I teared up because it was beautiful.

😱 What I didn’t like:

  • There were a  few parts that were a little repetitive in the head of Ari.

🚦 My face at the end: 😹

💭 5 Reasons to Read:

  • 1. Heart touching story
  • 2. LGBTQ+ theme
  • 3. Vulnerable male characters
  • 4. Retro time period
  • 5. Beautiful writing

🕧 Mini-Summary:

  • Aristotle and Dante don’t have many friends, but they do find each other. What do they learn about themselves that they struggle to realize?

All thoughts and opinions are my own.

📘 Summary 📚 Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe

Aristotle is an angry teen with a brother in prison. Dante is a know-it-all who has an unusual way of looking at the world. When the two meet at the swimming pool, they seem to have nothing in common.

But as the loners start spending time together, they discover that they share a special friendship—the kind that changes lives and lasts a lifetime. And it is through this friendship that Ari and Dante will learn the most important truths about themselves and the kind of people they want to be.
