These kind of books are not really my thing. I mean that the medical aspect of it turns me off a little and makes it hard for me to get through. However, I found it quite lovely overall. It is the first in the series and I really appreciated the set up of the characters to continue the series. I must mention also that it isnât a very long agonizing âwill they, wonât theyâ storyline, which makes this definitely better.
Small Summary:
In Alaska, itâs always a white Christmasâbut the sparks flying between two reunited friends could turn it red-hotâŚ
If thereâs one gift Erika Sheraton does not want for Christmas, itâs a vacation. Ordered to take time off, the workaholic surgeon reluctantly trades in her scrubs for a ski suit and heads to Wild River, Alaska. Her friend Cassie owns a tour company that offers adventures to fit every visitor. But nothing compares to the adrenaline rush Erika feels on being reunited with Cassieâs brother, Reed Reynolds.
Gone is the buttoned-up girl Reed remembers. His sisterâs best friend has blossomed into a strong, skilled, confident woman. Sheâs exactly what his search-and-rescue team needsâand everything he didnât know he craved. The gulf between his life in Wild River and her big-city career is wide. But itâs no match for a desire powerful enough to melt two stubborn heartsâŚ
